Music Together Mialto – Center’s policies
Registration Policy
Families who join Mialto’s classes are asked to fill in the registration form (via email or on the website), to ensure we have updated contact details to be able to contact you for class-related announcements.
Upon receipt of the registration form, we will write you an email to confirm your registration.
Duty of care during classes remains with the accompanying grown-up.
Course Fee
Music Together courses are organized on a “semester” basis (Fall, Winter, Spring), with one semester course having on average 10 to 12 weekly encounters. Class dates for the current semester are indicated upon registration. The fee indicated applies per course, and includes attendance to the course and the illustrated songbook for the current semester, as well as access to the app and online content provided by Music Together LLC.
Families are required to register for the entire semester course.
Payment for the semester is due upon registering.
Refund, Cancellation and Replacement Classes Policy
If you notify us in writing that you need to cancel your registration, we will refund pro rata according to the number of class meetings remaining at that point in time, after deducting from the paid course fee a course material (the song book and the access code to MT app) and administration fee. The course material and administration fee for the current semester is set to 60 EUR.
If discounts were given upon registration (e.g., early bird registration, registration later in the term, and/or friend referral), the maximum refund given will not exceed the course fee actually paid minus the course material and administration fee set up above.
If it becomes necessary for us to cancel one or more classes, we will notify you via email and offer a corresponding number of replacement classes. The replacement class may be scheduled during the semester or immediately after the end of the semester, depending on teacher and location availability. The replacement classes we offer may take place at the same or a different time and at the same or a different location as the course one is registered for. We cannot guarantee at the time of registration the time, date, or location of replacement classes.
Only if we are not able to offer replacement classes, we will issue a pro rata refund calculated as above.
We reserve the right to not activate a course if a sufficient number of families have not signed up for it and/or if the course location is no longer available. In such cases, we will refund in full any fee received for the non-activated course. Course material will not be provided for not activated courses.
Make-up Class Policy
Families are encouraged to attend the scheduled classes.
For absences which are notified in advance, we will try to offer attendance to a make-up class. The make-up class may be scheduled during the semester or immediately after the end of the semester, depending on teacher and location availability. The make-up class may take place at the same or a different time and at the same or a different location as the course one is registered for. We cannot guarantee at the time of registration the time, date, or location of make-up classes.
Only in case we are not able to offer a make-up class (independently of the family possibility to attend the offered make-up class), a pro-rata refund calculated as above will be issued for up to two missed classes per semester. If discounts were given upon registration (e.g., early bird registration, registration later in the term, and/or friend referral), the maximum refund given will not exceed the fee actually paid minus the administrative and course material fee indicated above.
Data Privacy Statement
If you register for a class at Music Together® Mialto, we request and save the following:
• first and last name (for at least one accompanying grown-up)
• e-mail address
• address
• phone number
By enrolling in a Music Together® class at Music Together® Mialto, a licensed Music Together® center, you agree that any information you provide will be shared with Music Together Worldwide (MTW). By registering for a class you agree with the above handling of your data.
You have the right to receive on request free information about which information we have stored about you and for what purpose. You also have the right to correct incorrect data and to restrict or delete your personal data. As long as not required by law, data stored by us will be deleted at latest after one semester of non attendance of the courses.
